Artist Biography

Roy Carruthers was born December 14, 1938 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He attended Technical College Art School in Port Elizabeth, winning its bronze medal in 1956. He has had solo exhibitions ranging from Puerto Rico to South Africa and has participated in group exhibitions throughout Europe and the United States.
